Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our global consumer team in Taiwan to support some of Molex's top global consumer electronics accounts.
As an Account Manager, you will manage your assigned business units within this customer and be responsible for profitable growth of Molex business by creating new demand and defending existing business as well as cooperate with US teams to promote new products and design wins.
This position carries a high degree of autonomy and will be the primary contact between Molex and Taiwanese customers, educating the customer and their partners on the value that Molex brings to the business. To enable this, you will interface with many internal Molex functions including other members of the Global Sales & Marketing team, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Become a subject matter expert on Molex capabilities and product portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical and commercial influencers at the customer and internally.
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve revenue/profit growth targets and demand creation pipeline goals
- Identify strategic business opportunities and present business cases to internal stakeholders to gain the necessary support to execute.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to guarantee overall success of NPI programs, including key milestone tracking and ensuring Molex performance is aligned with customer expectations.
- Track and coordinate demand fulfillment with APO, CM sales and supply planning teams.
- Own reporting and analytics across all business units.
- Identify value drivers and articulate account strategy to leadership

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business or a technical discipline
- Customer facing experience in a sales/account manager or equivalent technical role
- Able to speak Mandarin (preferred)
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience calling on consumer product OEMs, with a proven track record of design wins
- Prior experience in electronics industry: passive/active components, interconnect products, etc
- Familiarity with consumer product design process / sales cycle
- International experience, especially working with colleagues based in China and Japan
