About the Role

University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

Internship Period: 8 June 2026 to 14 August 2026

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and contribute:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Technology, you may be assigned to one of the following teams:

IT Strategy Planning and Expense Managementteam, where you will be involved in IT Expense Management, supporting IT StratPlan and expenses. This role involves liaising with Business Units (BUs) to analyze actuals versus budgets, assess variances, and prepare reports for the Executive Committee (ExCo). You will also contribute to:

  • Collaborate with BUs to gather and verify expense data.

  • Analyze budget variances and identify trends, discrepancies and optimisation opportunities.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for ExCo.

  • Support the development of expense management processes and tools.

  • Participate in meetings to discuss financial performance and recommendations.

  • Develop AI-driven automations to streamline IT Finance processes.

Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, where you will be involved in supporting the EA team with a focus on developing AI agents for SDLC governance and supporting annual architecture review:

1. SDLC governance

  • Assist in development of AI agents to collect SDLC telemetric and monitor SDLC efficiency.

  • Perform testing of the AI agents, infra provision and pipeline rollout.

2. Annual architecture review

  • Support in data collection from business unit.

  • Support preparation of final reports and insights.

Transformation Officeteam, where you will support and facilitate Change Management initiatives for Operations across all Business Units. You will work closely with the team in:

  • Development and execution of Change Management plans for Operations initiatives, including communication strategies, timelines, and target audience mapping

  • Preparation and coordination of change communications across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Design and maintenance of tracking mechanisms to monitor change management activities and milestones

  • Organize and document feedback sessions, lessons learned, and stakeholder inputs

  • Consolidate insights and reporting on change adoption and engagement

Experience Designteam, where you will support the creation of design research, content design, and UX/UI design assets across AIA's core customer journeys, including Buy, Service, and Claim. These journeys span multiple digital touchpoints, including responsive websites and mobile applications, and cover both customerfacing digital products as well as agent and reseller digital portals and tools. You will work closely with the team in:

  • Creating simple and userfriendly digital experiences for customers and employees

  • UX/UI design tasks, such as user flows, wireframes, and basic prototypes

  • Design research and content updates, including organising insights and improving existing copy

  • Ensuring designs follow AIA brand and design guidelines

  • Digital projects across web and mobile platforms

End Userteam, where you will support daily onsite IT operations and provide frontline assistance to employees. This role offers handson exposure to corporate IT environments, covering enduser support, device management, and basic IT operations. You will work closely with the team in:

  • Providing onsite support for common IT issues (Windows/macOS, printing, WiFi/network, software errors).
  • Assisting with new joiner setup including laptop preparation, basic account provisioning, and accessories.
  • Troubleshooting email, Teams, VPN, and productivity tools.
  • Supporting meeting rooms (Teams Rooms, video conferencing, audio/visual issues).
  • Preparing and deploying laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals maintaining asset inventory.
  • Logging and updating ServiceNow tickets documenting troubleshooting guides.
  • Escalating issues with clear diagnostics to L3 teams.
  • Following IT security and compliance guidelines, including device updates and basic patching tasks.

Group Applicationsteam, where you will support the development and operational needs of Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives by building rapid prototypes, conduct analysis and support ongoing strategic tasks. You will work closely with the team in:

  • AI Prototyping: Build quick prototypes using lowcode/nocode tools, support GenAI and agentic AI use case design, assist with prompt engineering, workflow setup, and documentation.
  • Business Analysis: Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI requirements, conduct research on tools and methods, prepare proposals and presentations, and consolidate pilot feedback.
  • AI Portfolio Support: Assist senior managers with tracking, reporting, coordination, and running controlled experiments and readiness reviews.
  • Governance & Compliance: Support adherence to internal AI governance, maintain documentation and approvals, and follow proper data handling and security procedures.

What you will need:

  • Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study

  • Excellent teammate and curious learner

  • Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment

  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
