ROLE SUMMARY

  • Strong regulatory technical capabilities of FCC/ CE/ NCC/ MIC and serve as a bridge for internal and external technical communications while supporting business development.
  • Optimize utilization of laboratory and capacity to ensure throughput of works according to client's requirements and compliance with SGS's quality requirement.
  • Create and support a rewarding work environment in maximizing business revenues and minimizing operating costs.
  • Responsible for the profit and loss of the regulatory team

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Evaluate and communicate customer requirements for RF & SAR regulatory testing.
  • Lead and coordinate the resolution of product testing, reporting, and certification issues.
  • Review test reports and assist in issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve collaboration challenges.
  • Plan and implement internal initiatives to improve quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of mandatory regulations such as FCC, CE, MIC, and NCC.
  • Study and stay updated on new testing standards and relevant regulatory technologies.

Profile – What We're Looking For

We are looking for a passionate and driven professional who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, and make a meaningful impact in the field of telecommunications testing and certification.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Communications, or a related field
  • A Master's degree in Communications or Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
  • At least 6 years of experience in telecommunications, electronics testing, or a related industry

Your Expertise

  • Strong foundation in electronic or telecommunication testing and analytical methodologies
  • Good understanding of international standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCC, CE, NCC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Netcom product regulations and certification processes is a plus
  • Exposure to programming, instrumentation control, or test automation will be advantageous

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

  • Recognition as a report signatory under TAF or other MRA accreditation bodies
  • Experience as a reviewer or certifier for FCC, CE NB, or NCC standards
