FairWind is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Supervisory-level Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) technicians to support a structured execution model across installation, commissioning, and lifting scopes in Taiwan.
This engagement presents an opportunity to contribute to a major international renewable energy project, working within a globally aligned delivery framework and alongside experienced, multi-national teams.
The project will operate under a dual shift (day/night) model, requiring strong leadership capability, adherence to OEM standards, and demonstrated experience within high-volume installation environments.
We are seeking supervisory positions are available across the following disciplines:
- Installation Supervisor (Nacelle) / Troubleshooter
- Installation Supervisor
- Commissioning Supervisor
- Lifting Supervisor
All roles will operate across rotational day and night shifts within a structured dual-crew delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise end-to-end WTG installation activities in accordance with OEM standards
- Provide specialist oversight of nacelle installation and fault troubleshooting (where applicable)
- Manage and coordinate commissioning activities, including mechanical and electrical completion
- Oversee lifting operations, including crane coordination and rigging interfaces
- Ensure full compliance with Vestas procedures, WTSR requirements, and site QA/HSE systems
- Lead and supervise site teams to deliver against project schedules and performance targets
Skills & Experience
Essential / Highly Regarded:
- Demonstrated experience working with Vestas turbine platforms (V174 highly desirable)
- Previous experience in a Supervisor or Lead Technician capacity on WTG installation projects
- Strong technical understanding across installation, commissioning, or lifting scopes
- Proven ability to operate effectively within rotational shift environments
Certifications:
- GWO BST (mandatory)
- GWO BTT (Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic as applicable)
- GWO ART
- WTSR (preferred)
- Relevant lifting and rigging certifications (for lifting roles)
