Job Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising & Retail Design
- Seasonal & Thematic Displays: Design and execute visually engaging seasonal and themed displays that align with the park's narrative and guest experience (e.g., holiday events, new program launches, and limited-time offers).
- Merchandise Flow & Signage: Design clear, attractive signage and merchandise flow that ensures a smooth shopping experience, easy navigation, and efficient product discovery.
- Visual Consistency: Ensure all retail spaces reflect the park's aesthetic standards, maintaining consistency across product displays, signage, and store layouts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with retail and buying teams to ensure timely and effective execution of visual displays. Partner with Brand Management on cross-functional initiatives and campaigns.
Project Management
- Installations & Rollouts: Participate in the end-to-end execution of window installations, visual display rollouts, and scheduled refreshes, ensuring on-time delivery that meets quality expectations.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to manage setups, source props, display materials, and other creative assets, ensuring seamless delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, creative direction or graphic design, with a proven track record of developing successful retail displays and marketing campaigns.
- Experience in retail or theme park is highly preferred.
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, color, typography, and composition.
- Demonstrates strong hands-on expertise in proactively optimizing product displays and fixtures in line with business performance and stock availability.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator) and other creative tools.
- Excellent understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and retail analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible with a positive attitude, and willing to work nights, weekends, or public holidays when required.
