PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Develop and implement trading strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight of Commercial & Trading Activities
- Provide strategic oversight of LNG spot and short-term trading activities to achieve commercial and financial targets while ensuring alignment with the company's commercial objectives, risk framework, and governance standards.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and decision-making to optimize value creation across the organization.
- Monitor market developments and industry trends to strengthen the company's competitive position.
Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead the trading organization through effective resource planning, organizational capability building, and performance excellence.
- Develop leadership capability and succession readiness to ensure long-term organizational sustainability.
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent the company's trading function and build strong relationships with external stakeholders and business partners.
- Serve as the key liaison with parent company stakeholders, ensuring alignment between corporate direction and business strategy.
Leadership Team Responsibilities
- As a member of the Leadership Team, contribute to the development and execution of corporate strategy through commercial leadership and market insight.
- Make decisions from an enterprise-wide perspective, prioritizing the long-term success of the company over functional interests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent command of English and Japanese, both written and spoken.
- Significant leadership experience in energy, commodities trading, or a related commercial field.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive business growth, value creation, and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams in a multicultural business environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
