The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced HR executive who has built and led people functions in globally operating infrastructure, technology, or related environments.

You will be responsible for the full HR agenda, including:

  • Talent strategy
  • Organizational design
  • Total rewards
  • People operations
  • Culture and engagement
  • Employer branding

The role involves scaling an early-stage HR function into a robust, multi-country capability that supports rapid expansion.

The ideal candidate understands global talent ecosystems and has experience working across Western and Asian markets. You should be adept at operating in culturally diverse environments and establishing governance standards that meet expectations of sophisticated stakeholders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Organizational Design

  • Develop and execute a global people strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead organizational design and workforce planning for rapid scale
  • Advise senior leadership on organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and change management
  • Establish HR governance, policies, and reporting frameworks aligned with international standards

Global Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Build a high-performing recruitment function to attract top-tier talent across regions
  • Develop a strong employer brand to compete with leading global firms
  • Lead executive hiring strategies and manage external search partners
  • Implement structured hiring frameworks, including competency models and assessment standards

Total Rewards & Compensation

  • Design competitive total rewards programs across multiple markets
  • Benchmark compensation against global industry peers
  • Oversee global mobility programs, expatriate policies, and relocation structures
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, tax requirements, and statutory obligations

People Operations & Compliance

  • Scale HR operations, including systems, payroll, lifecycle management, and analytics
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations across all operating countries
  • Develop policies aligned with global standards of governance and transparency
  • Drive efficiency through technology and process improvement

Culture, Performance & Leadership Development

  • Define and strengthen organizational culture centered on performance, ownership, and integrity
  • Implement performance management systems that drive accountability and development
  • Design leadership programs for a diverse, multinational workforce
  • Lead employee engagement and internal communication initiatives

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team across multiple disciplines
  • Manage external HR vendors, consultants, and recruitment partners
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Significant international experience across multiple regions
  • Proven track record of building HR functions and scaling organizations during high-growth phases
  • Experience recruiting and managing senior talent across global markets
  • Expertise in global mobility, expatriate programs, and cross-border employment frameworks
  • Strong experience establishing governance and compliance structures in multi-country environments

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong global mindset with cultural fluency across Western and Asian environments
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and boards
  • Excellent communication skills in diverse and multinational settings
  • Strong commercial acumen linking HR strategy to business outcomes
  • Data-driven approach with experience in workforce analytics and reporting
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center, infrastructure, technology, or large-scale development environments
  • Exposure to major corporate milestones such as fundraising, IPOs, or M&A
  • Familiarity with employment practices in both Western and Asian markets
  • Experience building global employer branding and talent pipelines
  • Knowledge of HR technology platforms and multi-country HRIS implementation
  • Established network within HR and executive search communities
