The Sr. Director - Customer Security & Trust is a senior, customer-facing security leader responsible for representing the company's security posture to prospects and current customers. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance teams to lead technical security conversations, support pre-procurement due diligence, and build customer confidence in the company's security architecture, controls, and operating maturity.
This role requires a highly technical professional typically with a Security Architect or Principal Security Engineer background, who can articulate security related matters in a clear and credible narrative to an external technical audience, including senior cybersecurity leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGWhy This Role Matters
This role is critical to establishing and maintaining customer trust. You will be the face of the company's security program, ensuring customers not only understand what controls exist, but why they matter and how they are implemented. Your credibility, technical depth, and communication skills will directly impact customer confidence and business growth.
If required for this role, you will:
- Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
- Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):
> Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy
> Incident Response Policy/Procedures
> Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures
> Mobile Device Policy
> Account Management Policy
> Access Control Policy
> Personnel Security Policy
> Privacy Policy
