Description & Requirements
Reporting to the Manager, Vendor Training, the Vendor Training Lead is responsible for end-to-end creation, communication and delivery of enrollment and training activities, including sustainment, for vendors. The role will partner and collaborate with cross-functional initiative partners and subject matter experts, throughout different project phases, in support of technology and process transformation projects. This role will also partner with the Supply Chain and Go-To-Market program and functional teams to lead project/program related training strategy, create comprehensive training assets, update existing learning content, and establish and maintain a centralized repository of training materials, communication and resources in Sharepoint and LMS. Specializing in instructional and e-learning designs, the Vendor Training Lead uses best practice and the latest techniques to create global training assets that motivate to learn, guide to the appropriate content, and provide meaningful practice experiences that lead to the confidence to apply.
- Working with the Manager, Vendor Training, create comprehensive training materials, including user guides, tutorials, cheat sheets, and eLearning materials grounded in sound learning design principles
- Build and deliver enrollment, onboarding and training activities to our raw materials and finished goods vendors located globally in support of major people, process and technology projects.
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content, including e-learning, videos, user guides, and instructor led training leveraging training materials and best practices created by Vendor Training
- Leads training delivery, assessment and evaluation across projects and programs, tailoring the materials as needed to align with market considerations (localization) and target audience training needs..
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of key training programs, recommending changes when appropriate.
- Act as a subject matter expert during all phases of learning design to consult and collaborate with cross-functional project teams, leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders (including our vendors)
- Responsible for vendor enrollment, registration, communication and evaluation of training programs they lead
- Provide constructive input and contribution during all phases of learning design (ADDIE and/or SAM).
- Support with discovery sessions and evaluation of implemented training solutions to identify the best training solutions for vendors learning needs
- Ensure training content adheres to lululemon's business strategy, branding guidelines, accessibility standards, trademark and copyright policies
- 6+ years experience building learning experiences
- Certification or course work in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience
- Awareness of current virtual/ instructor-led and online instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills with the ability to plan, develop, and implement training via instructor-led, virtual (Zoom, Teams), and e-learning formats
- Experience in delivering training to different audiences, using different learning methods and techniques,
- Experience developing interactive online learning experiences using rapid eLearning authoring tools, preferably Articulate products (Articulate 360 and Rise)
- Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia software, preferably Adobe software llustrator, Photoshop, Premier, Animate, Muse) and rapid video creation.
- Edit videos in Camtasia, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- Create explainer videos in Sparkol, Powtoon, Vyond, Snagit or similar tools
- Experience in Learning Management Systems
- Experience in preparing and troubleshooting SCORM/ AICC compliant eLearning packages and working knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards an asset
- A self-led leader with excellent time management and organization skills, proficiency in priority/ project management, presenting ideas and concepts, and ability to quickly develop trust
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work independently and effectively with a wide range of people, build relationships, and exhibit sensitivity to and understanding of the dynamics of a complex organization.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines if needed on projects and work remotely with team members in different time zones
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
- Fluency in business level English, Cantonese and Putonghua
