Key Responsibilities
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to achieve quality, yield, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Investigate manufacturing and product quality issues using Root Cause Analysis, 8D, SPC, and other quality tools.
- Review and disposition non-conforming materials, including incoming, in-process, outgoing, and customer returns.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Reduce defects, scrap, and production downtime through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain quality documents, inspection standards, SOPs, and control plans.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and customer requirements.
- Lead customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal, supplier, and process audits.
- Support process validation, MSA (GR&R), Poka-Yoke, and new product introduction activities.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and 8D.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in electronics, semiconductor, precision manufacturing, automotive, or related industries will be an advantage.
