Delivery partners (DP) are one of Uber Eats most important partners who deliver food, groceries, or parcels from merchants to consumers. The Delivery Partner Operations team is looking for an Operations Specialist to join the DP growth team and help how we grow, onboard and attract new delivery partners. You will help manage, operate, and improve essential business processes and operations that enable us to best serve our tens of thousands of delivery partners in Taiwan. You will help scale the business by delivering operational excellence on existing processes, drive new program implementation efforts, and continuously improving business processes. Our mission is to make Uber Delivery the preferred platform for restaurants, merchant stores, couriers and eaters across Taiwan!
Candidate Profile
- 1+ years of work experience in a related role, such as strategy or operations.
- English and Mandarin Chinese Fluency
- Problem-solving: Inherently curious by nature, you can break down problems by applying structure and using business intuition and data-driven insights to solve them.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights.
- Effective collaboration and project management: able to work with stakeholders effectively in a dynamic growth environment and demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan and prioritize tasks across projects.
- Go get it mindset: you are interested in executing operations, improving processes and executing initiatives to drive business results.
- SQL knowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
Project Management - Identify, plan, and execute discrete projects and root cause analyses to improve our existing processes for programs driving business results and improving delivery partner experiences.
- Operations Management - manage and lead a wide variety of essential business processes to support the business. Projects may include: UberEats online store management; tax / insurance / compliance processes; delivery partner onboarding process improvements; running incentives and prize campaigns for delivery partners; payment processing; and/or launching delivery partner communications.
- Process Improvements - Create new processes through automation and other approaches that enable us to improve the efficiency of running existing and new programs for delivery partners to deliver a best-in-class experience.
- Data analysis - Design, execute and automate processes to run and optimize the business performance and reliability. You will autonomously build your own analyses and dashboards to measure your projects&apos success.
- Stakeholder management - act as an important cross-functional partner to teams working with the delivery partner experience (e.g. Legal, Employment Legal, Public Policy, Tax, Compliance, etc.)
