PURPOSE OF JOB:
- You will play an important role in ensure the company's financial operations related to treasury, tax, and insurance. This involves overseeing cash & liquidity management, financial markets risk & debt management, ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies, transfer pricing and insurance coverage.
MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management.
- Monitor and manage bank accounts, ensuring optimal usage of funds and minimizing banking fees.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions and negotiate terms for banking services and loans.
- Implement and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including income, sales, property, and other business taxes.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.
- Handling tax authorities inquiries and providing replies, along with supporting documents.
- Manage the company's insurance programs, including property, casualty, liability, and other business-related policies.
- Handle claims processing and liaise with insurance providers.
- Conduct periodic reviews of insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.
- Be accountable for accounting, reporting, internal control & governance cycle.
- Continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in accounting, with a focus on treasury, tax and insurance.
- Good command of English written & verbal communication
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE:
- Expertise in MS Office software especially in EXCEL.
- Familiar with SAP or 鼎新 ERP is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations and insurance principles
- Good command of communicating in reading and writing English
