As a Trading Services Middle Office - Analyst within the Securitized Products Group (SPG), you support a diverse region that includes Hong Kong, China, India, Korea, and Australia. You will coordinate key middle office activities, partner closely with crossfunctional stakeholders, and help manage risk and controls throughout the trade lifecycle. You will contribute to ongoing enhancements in processes ranging from iterative efficiency gains to larger technology implementations, while maintaining a proactive approach to issue identification and escalation.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage loan data with accuracy and timeliness, and work closely with newly set up Portfolio Management team
  • Liaise between origination and credit to support exposure management, along with many other stakeholders
  • Manage Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
  • Coordinate booking in securities and loan systems and support lifecycle events
  • Coordinate thirdparty vendor invoicing and billing
  • Submit and track sales credit
  • Collaborate on project and change initiatives and act as a technology requirements liaison
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver highquality work under tight timelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, change/project management, or a related field
  • Proactive, self-directed and strong initiative to navigate complexity and change in a global bank
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global, crossfunctional teams
  • Possess a strong client-focus and teamwork mindset proactive, selfdirected, and composed under pressure
  • Think like an owner, analytical problem solver and is able to spot issues early, escalates promptly, evaluates risk implications, and implements practical control fixes
  • Strong risk and control focus with meticulous attention to detail
  • Curious and fast learner on new technologies and evolving processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including building, reviewing, and auditing complex calculations for deals and loans

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in an operations role, in particular if related to securitization and highly structured deals
  • Experience with loan booking systems such as LoanIQ
  • Experience with intelligent automation tools such as Alteryx or UiPath
  • Knowledge of coding language such as Python or VBA
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and Cantonese to support close collaboration with Asia-based and Chinese clients
