Trade Operations Executive (Commodities Trading)

Join a reputable international commodities trading company and be part of a dynamic team supporting global trade operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor commodity trading transactions from contract to shipment completion.

• Review contracts and ensure accurate execution of trade terms and obligations.

• Handle trade finance documentation, including Letters of Credit (LC), DP/DA, and payment processes.

• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, shipping agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movements.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, and settlement records.

• Monitor receivables, payables, freight, and other transaction-related costs.

• Resolve operational issues and support timely delivery of shipments.

• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and business partners.

• Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

• 1-3 years of experience in trade operations, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or commodities trading.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply.

• Familiarity with trade finance instruments such as LC, DP, and DA is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
