Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle for structured and flow credit derivatives transactions.
  • Monitor trade processing activities and investigate trade booking exceptions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Liaise with clients, Trading, Sales, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and trade queries.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks throughout the trade lifecycle.
  • Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between Trading and Sales teams.
  • Partner with Technology and business stakeholders to enhance operational processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Participate in regulatory and industry initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal controls and market requirements.
  • Continuously review existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Trade Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support, Investment Banking Operations, or Financial Markets Operations.
  • Experience supporting trading desks or post-trade processing is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle and financial products, particularly credit derivatives, is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to remain composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
