Responsibilities
- Propose improvements to the TPRM program in response to changes in risk profiles, regulatory standards, and operational environments. Conduct reviews of existing TPRM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for third-party risk, guiding business and IT stakeholders on due diligence, risk monitoring, and contractual obligations. Advise stakeholders on managing adverse developments and non-compliance issues. Review new and existing third-party arrangements in collaboration with SMEs from various departments to challenge risk assessments effectively. Lead TPRM Committee meetings, setting agendas to cover due diligence approvals and monitoring activities. Track and report any gaps or adverse developments in third-party risk management processes. Conduct independent tests to evaluate the effective implementation of TPRM processes. Support internal and external audits related to third-party risk management.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, risk and compliance, or business audit, preferably in the financial industry. Strong knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements concerning IT vendor management. Demonstrated ability to execute tasks rigorously while adhering to best practices in high-stakes environments. Proven capacity to engage independently with various stakeholders to achieve TPRM objectives. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Effective project and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and adhere to tight timelines.
