Location:Shanghai (Onsite)
Engagement Type: Short-term project (weekdays, 8 hours/day)
Start Date: 10 consecutive days
The Opportunity
We are gearing up for the Thailand market launch of a next-generation in-vehicle HMI/IVI system. To ensure market readiness, we are seeking a native Thai UX/Content strategist to join a high-velocity, on-site project team in Shanghai. Your mission is to bridge the gap between product design and local user expectations—ensuring every touchpoint feels intuitive, culturally resonant, and linguistically flawless.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Audit & Journey Mapping: Conduct a deep-dive review of core user journeys (Navigation, Media, Telephony, Settings, and System Alerts) to assess UX copy effectiveness and informational hierarchy.
- Quality Assurance (Tone & Clarity): Evaluate UI text for naturalness, terminology consistency, actionable clarity, and brand-voice alignment—transforming standard translations into compelling user dialogue.
- Localization QA (L10N): Identify and document rendering risks specific to Thai scripts, including truncation, overflow, line-breaking, and character-display anomalies that could compromise UI integrity.
- Strategic Recommendations: Deliver actionable, developer-ready solutions—including microcopy rewrites, nomenclature adjustments, and structural refinements to enhance scannability and user confidence.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, UI/UX Design, and Engineering teams to prioritize fixes, validate iterations, and secure final sign-off for production.
The Ideal Candidate
- Native Thai proficiency with an exceptional ear for user-centric microcopy and digital product language.
- Valid China work permit/visa (Mandatory for on-site engagement in Shanghai).
- Proven track record in UX Writing, Content Design, Localization (L10N), or Market Readiness—automotive or consumer electronics experience is a strong differentiator.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate UX rationale to non-creative stakeholders; thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Schedule: Mon–Fri standard business hours. Commitment through project completion.
