Test Manager Banking & Financial Markets (QA Testing)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Banking, Financial Markets, Payments, Regulatory Reporting, and Digital Banking applications. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities across large-scale banking transformation programs while managing stakeholders, testing teams, and release deliveries.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Core Banking, Financial Markets, Payment Systems, API Testing, Regulatory Reporting, and Test Automation within multinational banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, and release management.
• Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and Production Validation activities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Summary Reports.
• Lead testing teams across Agile Scrum projects.
• Coordinate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Manage project risks, testing schedules, resource allocation, and project reporting.
• Validate banking applications across Core Banking, Financial Markets, Payments, Cards, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Perform API Testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
• Support automation initiatives using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, TOSCA, and Test Complete.
• Work closely with DevOps teams using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Participate in release management and production deployments.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership.
