Test Hardware Engineer - Load Board, Probe Card & Socket- Taiwan

Location: Hsinchu / Taipei / Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Experience: 3-10+ years

Mobility: Open to qualified candidates currently based in India who are willing to relocate to Taiwan; employment and work authorization subject to employer requirements.

• Role Overview

Design, validate and sustain semiconductor test-interface hardware for wafer sort, final test and characterization. The role requires close interaction with ATE, package, product and PCB teams to deliver robust, high-signal-integrity test solutions.

Country-specific emphasis: Taiwan demand strongly values probe-card/load-board/socket ownership alongside test development.

• Key Responsibilities

Design or review load boards, probe cards, sockets and related test-interface hardware.

Translate device pinout, power, signal and test requirements into hardware specifications.

Perform schematic capture, PCB design review and component selection.

Support bring-up, debug and correlation of new test hardware on ATE.

Analyze signal-integrity, power-integrity and contact-related issues.

Coordinate with PCB/probe-card/socket vendors and manufacturing partners.

Support multisite test, high-current and high-speed interface requirements.

Investigate hardware-induced yield or correlation issues.

Maintain revision control, BOMs, schematics and release documentation.

Support NPI and production ramp across wafer sort and final test.

• Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.

3-10+ years of relevant semiconductor test, product, validation, hardware, manufacturing-test or application-engineering experience, depending on level.

Hands-on semiconductor laboratory, ATE and/or production-test experience appropriate to the role.

Strong analytical, debugging and cross-functional problem-solving capability.

English required; Mandarin is an advantage for customer/manufacturing-facing roles.
