| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and |
| (d) | To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
| Requirements: |
| (a) | A relevant recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | Good knowledge in computer network, Kubernetes, DevOps, Python / Java programming, web and android development |
| (c) | Good knowledge in cloud computing - AWS or Azure or GCP, AI, IoT, big data, SAP and / or holder of RedHat and public cloud certification is highly preferred |
| (d) | Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese |
| (e) | Preferably with knowledge and experience in design and implementation of computer networks, software development on multiplatform, AI, IoT or big data application development, and / or application development on cloud |
| (f) | Records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industry experience would be an advantage and |
| (g) | Preferred Putonghua Proficiency: |
| (i) | Mother tongue / language is Putonghua or |
| (ii) | Received a bachelor's degree or above of which the medium of instruction is Putonghua or |
| (iii) | Have at least 3 years work experience in the Mainland or other Putonghua speaking countries or regions or |
| (iv) | Attainment of Grade 3B or above at the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) - Putonghua Proficiency Test administered by the State Commission on Language Work. |

| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (4) | Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
