| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience in the sports industries, preferably in teaching the tertiary education sector |
| (c) | Coaching qualification in one or more of the following sports: handball, basketball, track & field, table-tennis, yoga and aerobic dance etc. |
| (d) | Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese and |
| (e) | Good records of linkage with the industry or professional bodies would be an added advantage. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Term Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (4) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
