Major Duties: |
(a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
(b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
(c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
(d) | To carry out various administrative duties |
(e) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
(f) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) | A recognised degree in Applied Sciences / Health and Life Sciences, preferably in animal science, veterinary science, veterinary nursing, veterinary medicine or related field, preferably with a postgraduate qualification |
(b) | At least 3 years full-time relevant teaching and/or industry experience in animal science or pet care industry |
(c) | Good communication, teaching and facilities skills in both English and Chinese and |
(d) | Good records of linkage with the industry or with solid work experience would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
(1) | Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Term Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
(2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(3) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
