| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties, including preparation and delivery of programme materials, supervision of students projects and other academic activities |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments and departmental projects. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and / or industry experience |
| (c) | Good presentation, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage and |
| (d) | Good records of work / teaching experience in the hospitality industry would be an added advantage. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Applicant(s) with less experience may be considered for the post of Term Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (3) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside campus. |
| (4) | Candidates who are immediately available are preferred. |
