| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching-related duties, including conducting lectures, seminars, tutorials and laboratory work, setting and marking student assessments and supervising student's projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, campus / discipline / departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree in Engineering, Avionics, Aeronautical, Aviation or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualificationor recognised aircraft maintenance license |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience in aircraft maintenance / aviation operations |
| (c) | Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua and |
| (d) | A good team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for the post of Term Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (4) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
