Major Duties: |
(a) | To provide support in one or more of the following areas: |
| (i) | general administration and human resources |
| (ii) | finance, supplies and stores administration |
| (iii) | promotion & publicity and committee work and |
| (iv) | secretarial and administrative support for senior level staff |
(b) | To assist in providing secretarial support for meetings / boards of operational units |
(c) | To draft simple correspondence |
(d) | To handle enquiries and provide counter services |
(e) | To support competition-related activities and events |
(f) | To support the update of website and social media platforms of WorldSkills Hong Kong and |
(g) | To assist in the stock-taking and maintenance of inventory record. |

Requirements: |
(a) | (i) | Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language., Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^OR |
| (ii) | Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)., Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)OR |
| (iii) | Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Maths Plus / Project Yi Jin OR |
| (iv) | A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation StudiesOR |
| (v) | A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |
. | Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC's Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |
^ | Attained in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |
(b) | Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and / or simple webpage design |
(c) | Good command of English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua |
(d) | Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills |
(e) | Ability to work independently and be a good team player and |
(f) | Good work initiative and be customer-oriented. |

(2) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or work on shift duty. |
