Job Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Tender Manager to lead and manage the tendering process for M&E construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive and compliant bids, managing tender submissions, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end tender process from enquiry to award.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Conduct commercial and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Attend tender clarifications and negotiations.
- Support contract handover upon project award.
- Lead and mentor tendering and estimating team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in tendering, estimating, or commercial management within the construction or M&E industry.
- Strong knowledge of tender procedures, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, ELV, or Integrated M&E projects.
- Familiarity with Singapore construction and government tender requirements.
