Telephony Engineer (Telephony QA Engineer)
Responsibility
The member is responsible for performing field test and lab test with the local carriers and file bugs if any. He/she needs to follow the test plan/test cases to perform the test.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in mobile phone field testing and good knowledge of 3GPP/GCF technologies.
- Experience in 5G/4G log analysis and debug issues from field tests.
- Knowledge of 5G(FR2/FR1)/4G Modem/Telephony to drive field functional/ performance and carrier test.
- Familiar with Anite 9000 / Amarisoft / CMW500 instruments and carrier test.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a complex, always-changing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in 5G R15/R16 carrier requirements and driving cellular field testing projects across multiple product areas and distributed sites, with competing resources and priorities.
- Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, project management, data analysis, and communication skills while working with cross-functional teams.
