Job Description
As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment operations to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production. This role involves day‑to‑day equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance execution, abnormal response, and close collaboration with equipment engineers and process teams to maintain tool performance and output.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily equipment operation support, basic troubleshooting, and abnormal condition handling
Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and follow established maintenance guidelines
Support equipment recovery actions to minimize tool downtime and production impact
Assist in monitoring equipment performance, alarms, and basic data tracking
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP), safety rules, and cleanroom discipline
Work closely with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing teams
Support continuous improvement activities related to equipment stability and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Associate Degree or above in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment or factory operations
Willingness to work in a shift environment (if applicable)
Ability to follow instructions, standard procedures, and safety requirements
Good teamwork mindset and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in semiconductor fab, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, PM execution, or alarm handling
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Strong sense of responsibility and discipline in production environment
Working Conditions
Cleanroom environment
Shift work may be required based on operation needs
