Technician (carrying the job title of Production Scientist)

As part of the Advanced Therapy Products GMP Centre, the appointee will be responsible for the manufacturing of cellular products. Duties include (a) working closely with the cell therapy production team and reporting to the Production Manager (b) maintaining the production cleanrooms (c) performing equipment qualification, maintenance, and calibration as needed (d) assisting in preparation and review of production-related documents, including SOPs, batch records, and validation reports and (e) overseeing and executing the production of cellular products according to established protocols and procedures.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Biological or Biomedical Sciences, or related disciplines (ii) experience in handling cell culture and aseptic technique (iii) a good command of both written and spoken English (iv) good communication, interpersonal, organisational, co-ordination, and planning skills, along with team spirit and (v) a strong interest and excitement in participating in the production of advanced cellular therapy products.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
