As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will leverage your mechanical design expertise to support key customers in Taiwan by delivering advanced Datacom and Datacenter interconnection solutions. Your primary focus will be to provide technical guidance and drive design wins, contributing directly to business growth and customer success.

Our team collaborates closely with product design, marketing, manufacturing, and key external customers and vendors to ensure seamless integration and superior product offerings.
What You Will Do
- Provide on-site technical support aimed at securing design win opportunities and fostering business expansion.
- Assist customers in selecting optimal interconnection solutions, including managing new part qualifications and conducting failure analyses.
- Deliver customized connector solutions and proposals tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical application challenges, ensuring smooth product integration.
- Support customer qualification processes by clarifying specifications and resolving discrepancies between customer and Molex standards.
- Maintain continuous communication with key customers, delivering Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback to internal product marketing and design teams.
- Monitor market trends and actively contribute to new product development and technology promotion initiatives.
- Explore and adopt emerging technologies to strengthen mechanical application support capabilities.
- Conduct competitive market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Share valuable customer insights with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance overall market responsiveness.
- Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with customer engineering teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant R&D experience with server or switch products.
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical support in mechanical design applications.
- Capable of establishing effective relationships with internal teams and external customers.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working with connector or cable assembly applications.
- Knowledge of server or switch hardware architecture.
- Proficiency with 3D mechanical design software, preferably UG (Unigraphics).
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Self-driven, well-organized, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent professional skills combined with a collaborative team spirit.
