This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will manage complex and large-scale technology initiatives that span across teams and functions. You will work closely with development teams to estimate efforts, define milestones, and manage resources effectively. Your leadership will be crucial to delivering successful outcomes, as you will coordinate between teams to prioritize both technical and business objectives. You will also focus on tracking progress, resolving dependencies, and evaluating risks while communicating updates to stakeholders. Your ability to leverage data for decision-making and your expertise in documentation will greatly enhance project execution.
Accountabilities
- Manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Interface with development teams to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources.
- Deliver results by collaborating with cross-functional teams from design to rollout.
- Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Design and track metrics around initiative goals and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure coordination between teams to balance tech and business priorities.
- Facilitate and maintain documentation for various audiences, including production support playbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in project and/or program management in a software applications environment.
- Deep understanding of software development, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies; Scrum Master experience is a plus.
- Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to align disparate groups to achieve a goal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; mentoring skills are a plus.
- Proven ability in setting up processes, driving automation, and facilitating meetings.
- Fluent in verbal and written English; Mandarin and Cantonese are a plus.
- Experience using JIRA/Confluence.
- PMP, CSM, PSM, ACP certifications are preferred.
