About GMI Cloud

GMI Cloud is a next-generation AI cloud infrastructure provider delivering large-scale GPU and HPC data center solutions for enterprise and hyperscale customers worldwide. As an NVIDIA Reference Platform Cloud Partner, GMI Cloud designs, builds, and operates advanced data centers optimized for AI workloads, integrating cutting-edge hardware, networking, power, and cooling technologies across global sites.

About the Role

GMI Cloud is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead data center service vendor sourcing, onboarding, and lifecycle management across commissioning, system integration, and operational services.

This role will be responsible for building and managing a high-quality vendor ecosystem, aligning technical scope, commercial terms, and operational execution, and ensuring vendor performance throughout the project and operations lifecycle. The TPM will also play a key role in establishing scalable, system-driven processes (e.g., ERP, vendor management workflows) and supporting finance operations, vendor closeout, billing, and audits.

What You'll Do

Vendor Sourcing & Strategy

  • Lead sourcing and evaluation of data center commissioning vendors, system integrators, and operations/service providers (e.g., MEP, network, controls, DC operations support).
  • Develop vendor sourcing strategies aligned with technical architecture, regional requirements, schedule, and cost targets.
  • Drive RFPs, technical evaluations, and vendor selection in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.

Technical & Commercial Alignment

  • Align technical scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and timelines with commercial terms, pricing models, and contract structures.
  • Ensure vendor proposals and contracts accurately reflect data center design, commissioning methodology, and operational requirements.
  • Act as the bridge between engineering depth and business execution, ensuring no gaps between scope and cost.

Vendor Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

  • Own vendor onboarding processes, including compliance, system access, documentation, and readiness reviews.
  • Establish and maintain vendor performance tracking, including KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors to review performance, risks, improvements, and future capacity planning.

Program Execution & Risk Management

  • Track vendor execution across commissioning and operations phases, identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Drive issue resolution for vendor-related technical, schedule, or quality challenges.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs from commissioning to steady-state operations.

Systems & Process Enablement

  • Partner with internal teams to design and improve systemized vendor management workflows, including ERP integration.
  • Define standardized processes for vendor sourcing, onboarding, performance tracking, and closeout.
  • Support scalable growth by reducing manual processes and improving data visibility and governance.

Finance Operations & Audit Support

  • Ensure proper vendor closeout, including scope completion, acceptance sign-off, and final documentation.
  • Partner with Finance to support vendor billing, invoicing, and payment workflows.
  • Assist with financial audits and compliance reviews, ensuring vendor records, contracts, and approvals are accurate and audit-ready

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, vendor management, or data center infrastructure delivery.
  • Strong experience working with data center commissioning, system integration, or data center operations vendors.
  • Proven ability to align technical requirements with commercial and contractual terms.
  • Experience managing vendors through performance reviews and QBRs.
  • Solid understanding of data center delivery lifecycle, including commissioning, handover, and operations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI / HPC data centers or large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, contract lifecycle management tools, or vendor management platforms.
  • Experience supporting finance operations, vendor billing, or audit processes.
  • Knowledge of commissioning standards, MEP systems, and data center operational best practices.
  • Experience working across global or multi-regional data center projects.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI data center infrastructure
  • High visibility role with cross-functional and executive exposure
  • A fast-growing environment where you can shape processes, systems, and vendor strategy from the ground up
