About This Opportunity

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for engineering systems used in application and reliability labs
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex equipment and process issues, driving resolution for high-value problems (HVP)
  • Act as the key interface between customers, field teams, and engineering to ensure timely issue escalation and resolution
  • Support field engineers, technicians, and product support teams in diagnosing, repairing, and debugging equipment
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and beta site activities, including installation, calibration, testing, and early-stage issue resolution
  • Analyze system performance metrics (e.g., Uptime, MTBF, Availability) to identify trends and drive product and process improvements
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on technical solutions and system enhancements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., CENs, BKMs) and share best practices across teams
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to engineering stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Several years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, or problem diagnosis,
  • Experience with Applied Materials (AMAT) tools is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
