We're looking for an experienced
Technical Delivery Manager to take ownership of complex technology initiatives, working across multiple stakeholders to drive delivery from planning to production. This role offers genuine endtoend delivery ownership, with accountability from planning through to production within a complex banking technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the endtoend delivery of complex technology initiatives within core banking and payments
- Translate highlevel objectives into clear delivery plans and executable workstreams
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery constraints
- Work closely with business stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and external delivery partners
- Act as a key interface between technology teams and vendor partners
- Own delivery across Agile and Waterfall workstreams as required by the programme
- Oversee endtoend testing, release management, and application deployment to production
- Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines, delivery tradeoffs, and outcomes
- Provide regular delivery updates to senior and executive stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement in delivery practices and execution maturity
Experience Required
- Strong background in technology delivery, project management, within a banking environment
- Proven experience delivering core banking or paymentsrelated initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage largescale, multistream integration projects in a matrix organisation
- Solid understanding of payments platforms (corporate or transaction banking experience preferred)
- Experience overseeing testing, release, and production deployment activities
- Strong vendor management experience, including onshore and offshore delivery models
