Role Purpose:
This role is accountable for the Finance matters belonging to the cluster
As Finance expert within the Team, this role is involved into the different cluster performance topics such as building the cluster budget, product costing, defining CAPEX envelop and monitoring & reporting on investments

In the role of the Team Leader - Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Accounting and Reporting: Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions including GL, AR, AP, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Secretarial and Audit.
- Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting
- Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment reviews
- Budgeting and forecast: Calculate the annual manufacturing budget and monthly forecasts. Monitor the variances between budgeting and actual to provide relevant analysis to local, sub-regional and HQ management.
- Tax: Monitor reconciliation between Financial and tax reporting to ensure compliance with all tax regulations
- Audit and Compliance: Prepare and ensure submission of financial reports comply with local statutory audit requirement and group policies
- Legal & Secretarial: Support the completion of required legal documents for all accounting aspect
- Internal Control: Manage and enforce the internal control measures in compliance with Sibelco&aposs guidance and local management disciplines. Propose areas of improvement when needed.
- People management: Responsible for tasks delegation and motivate the team to strive for excellence. Guide and coach subordinates to ensure tasks are completed accurately in a timely manner
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
To be successful in the role, you have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturing industries
- Candidate with external audit background and CPA/CA qualification is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of Accounting and Financial reporting is a must. Costing, budgeting, tax experience would be a plus
- Good communication skills with excellent command in both written and spoken English
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication in driving and achieving results
- Flexible, detail-oriented, multi-tasking, problem solving and able to work under tight time frame
