Duties

1. Provide academic and personalised support to the students under the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme
2. Plan, coordinate, and organise local and non-local student development activities of the Department, including Student Chapter, student mentoring, and student advising arrangements
3. Provide high-quality training for students to prepare them as future leaders and
4. Coordinate community servicing activities with different stakeholders.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Criminology or related disciplines. A Master's degree or a Doctoral/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration
2. Experience in providing academic advising or mentoring for students in the tertiary education sector
3. Good command of English and Chinese
4. A strong growth mindset and commitment to student development
5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills to work with internal and external stakeholders and
6. A long-term interest in sports would be a plus.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
