Duties
- Provide academic and personalised support to the students under the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme
- Plan, coordinate, and organise local and non-local student development activities of the Department, including Student Chapter, student mentoring, and student advising arrangements
- Provide high-quality training for students to prepare them as future leaders and
- Coordinate community servicing activities with different stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Criminology or related disciplines. A Master's degree or a Doctoral/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration
- Experience in providing academic advising or mentoring for students in the tertiary education sector
- Good command of English and Chinese
- A strong growth mindset and commitment to student development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills to work with internal and external stakeholders and
- A long-term interest in sports would be a plus.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
