Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site teaching position located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to students, assessing their progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in school events, and contributing to curricular and extracurricular activities are also key responsibilities. The Teacher will work to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education or Teaching)
• Teaching license/certification (preferred) or enrollment in a teacher certification program (mentoring available for candidates pursuing certification)
• Classroom teaching experience in a formal school setting
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Respect for Catholic values
• Fluency in English for homeroom teaching positions
• Strict adherence to child protection and safeguarding policies to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care
• Remuneration is commensurate with experience, and ARC/work permits are provided

Qualifications

• Strong teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and the ability to engage students effectively
• Expertise in curriculum development and the ability to tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience with multicultural teaching environments and proficiency in addressing the needs of English language learners
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices
• Having a growth mindset and a solution-focused attitude
• Understanding of the MTSS/PBIS or its equivalent supports framework
• Familiarity with the U.S.-aligned curriculum and Advanced Placement courses is preferred
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
