Tax Manager

The Tax Manager supports the tax function by assisting with tax compliance, planning, and reporting for the organization at group's head office in Singapore. This role works closely with the Group Head of Tax (GHT) to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, adherence to statutory requirements, and support during audits and assessments.

Tax Compliance

• Lead and coordinate Pillar 2 tax filing for the group.
• Coordinate the preparation and review Income tax and GST tax returns with company's tax agents
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payment of tax liabilities
• Coordinate with various subsidiaries on tax compliance matters
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors on tax-related matters

Tax Planning & Advisory

• Assist GHT in structuring of new project and acquisitions, identifying tax-saving opportunities and optimizing tax positions
• Coordinate the transfer pricing documentation and compliance with company's tax agents

Assessments & Tax Rulings

• Coordinate preparation of tax exemption applications to Singapore tax authorities
• Coordinate communication with the Singapore tax authorities and ensure timely response on all their letters and notices with company's tax agent
• Coordinate on tax ruling application with Singapore and other tax authorities as required

Reporting & Documentation

• Support in tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations for financial statements
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all tax matters
