Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline, or a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Singapore tax experience, preferably gained in a public accounting or corporate advisory environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Corporate Tax, Personal Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, and IRAS regulations.
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios and delivering both tax compliance and advisory services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage clients and senior management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand clients businesses and identify opportunities to add value.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire junior team members.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Singapore Certified Tax Professional (SCTP) qualification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities include:
- Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as the trusted tax advisor to a portfolio of local and international clients across various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, directors, finance leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Meet clients regularly to understand their business needs and provide practical, commercially sound tax advice.
- Present tax recommendations, planning strategies, and technical updates confidently to clients and management teams.
- Advise clients on tax implications arising from business transactions, restructuring exercises, corporate expansion, and other strategic initiatives.
- Deliver exceptional client service by responding promptly to enquiries and providing proactive tax solutions.
- Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Manage a portfolio of Singapore tax engagements covering Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, Certificates of Residence, tax incentives, and other relevant tax matters.
- Review tax computations, tax returns, and advisory reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with Singapore tax legislation and IRAS requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters and recommend practical solutions that align with clients commercial objectives.
- Represent clients in dealings with IRAS, including enquiries, audits, objections, and tax disputes where required.
- Keep abreast of changes in Singapore tax legislation, IRAS practice, and industry developments, and communicate their impact to clients and colleagues.
- Leadership & People Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide technical guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback.
- Conduct internal technical training sessions and share knowledge to strengthen the team's technical capabilities.
- Support the professional development and career progression of team members through regular mentoring and performance coaching.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the tax practice.
