The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Supervisor for Taiwan is primarily responsible for high-volume, frontline operations recruitment across Plaza Premium Group's airport lounge and hospitality services in Taiwan. This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring operational talent including Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Housekeeping, and Facilities team members, etc. Working closely with the Taiwan HR Manager and frontline hiring managers, the role ensures that staffing needs are met quickly, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with local labor regulations.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline operational roles. Develop and execute rapid sourcing strategiesfor high-turnover positions using job fairs, walk-in interviews, local community boards, referral programs, and digital platforms (e.g., 104, 518).
- Build and maintain a ready pipeline of pre-screened candidates to fill unexpected vacancies within short notice.
- Conduct initial screening interviews, background checks, and coordinate on-site / practical assessments with operational managers.
- Report directly to the Taiwan HR Manager and provide regular updates on recruitment status, challenges, and market intelligence.
- Partner with frontline supervisors and department heads (Guest Services, F&B, Housekeeping, etc.) to understand role-specific requirements, shift patterns, and soft skills needed for premium service delivery. Advise hiring managers on realistic job previews, competitive hourly rates, and local hiring trends.
- Ensure a fast, respectful, and transparent hiring process suitable for frontline candidates (e.g., simplified application, same-day feedback where possible).
- Coordinate with the HR operations team to facilitate smooth pre-employment checks, contract signing, and new hire orientation.
- Ensure all frontline hiring complies with Taiwan's Labor Standards Act (working hours, overtime, contract types) and Employment Service Act.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records in the HRIS/ATS, tracking metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rate for operational roles.
- Assist the Taiwan HR Manager in preparing for internal/external audits related to personnel files and hiring documentation.
- Represent Plaza Premium Group at local job fairs, vocational high schools, and community centers to attract entry-level talent.
- Promote employee referral programs and internal mobility for frontline staff.
- Gather feedback from new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve the frontline recruitment process.
About you:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
- Minimum2–4 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years focused on high-volume frontline or operational hiring (hospitality, F&B, retail, airport services, or manufacturing).
- Proven ability to fill 10+ operational roles per month in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Taiwan's labor laws, especially regarding hourly workers, part-time contracts, and overtime regulations.
- Hands-on experience using job boards (104, Yes123), social media recruiting, and walk-in interview processes.
