Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and build effective customer relationships.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of AMAT products and related repair processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including GCC, Purchasing, and Logistics, to streamline customer repair order processes.
  • Escalate and follow up on unmet customer requirements by working with stakeholders to drive problem resolution.
  • Collect and analyze customer-specific data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support process improvement projects under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Identify gaps in the repair process and drive containment actions and long-term corrective actions to improve process performance.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Possesses intermediate knowledge of repair order management processes, systems, and tools, including SAP.
  • Collects and analyzes data to solve problems, improve processes, and support decision-making.
  • Understands supply and demand signals and applies this knowledge to repair activities.

Business Expertise

  • Understands key business drivers and uses this knowledge to accomplish work effectively.
  • Has knowledge of the semiconductor equipment industry and customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in SAP and related business systems used to support repair operations.
  • Applies strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Has global experience working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Leadership

  • Provides informal guidance to new repair team members without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Influences stakeholders to support issue resolution and process improvement.

  • Solves complex problems by taking new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Exercises sound judgment based on analysis from multiple sources of information.
  • Collects and uses data to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Applies analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve repair issues.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Communicates clearly and professionally in both written and spoken English TOEIC score of 700 or above preferred.
  • Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues while maintaining focus on customer repair order management.
  • Works effectively in a matrixed organization and communicates complex information across various levels within the AGS organization.
  • Builds and maintains positive and effective relationships with internal and external customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Japanese communication skills are preferred stronger Japanese capability is an advantage for supporting cross-regional collaboration.
