Job Description

Position Overview

The Inside Sales will provide dedicated sales support to our distribution partners and mass market customers. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations across sampling, delivery, quality, and customer engagement processes, while closely collaborating with Product Managers and the broader sales team to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support for Distribution Partners

  • Handle sample requests and coordinate timely delivery.
  • Provide delivery support and resolve logistics issues.
  • Manage and follow up on quality concerns, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Issue NBOs (New Business Opportunities) for mass market customers.

Customer Engagement**

  • Respond to daily RFQs in collaboration with Product Managers.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries during the design phase.
  • Provide alternative parts and substitution services to support customer needs.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Operational Excellence**

  • Track and update sales records, quotations, and order status.
  • Support forecasting and buffer planning with distribution partners.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and distribution agreements.
  • Coordinate internally with logistics, finance, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Additional Responsibilities (Recommended For Inside Sales Functions)

CRM & Reporting**

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate regular sales reports.
  • Monitor KPIs such as RFQ turnaround time, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather feedback from distribution partners and customers to identify trends.
  • Share insights with Product Managers and Sales leadership to refine strategies.

Process Improvement**

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve customer experience.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across sales operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer support, or distribution management.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
