Position Overview
YAGEO Corporation, a leading global supplier of electronic components, is looking for an energetic, positive, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer.
In this role, you will help transform business requirements and raw data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making across the organization. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes, as well as a strong interest in understanding business needs and turning them into practical data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have around 3–4 years of relevant experience, but we are also open to candidates who have built strong capabilities through similar roles, projects, or hands-on business intelligence work. Key Responsibilities
- Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that help business users understand key trends, performance, and opportunities.
- Data Preparation and Transformation: Use Power Query, M code, DAX, and related tools to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting and analysis.
- SQL and Data Analysis: Write SQL queries to extract, organize, and analyze data from different sources, with attention to accuracy, performance, and usability.
- ETL and Data Integration: Support the design and improvement of ETL workflows to ensure data is reliable, consistent, and available for business reporting.
- Data Modeling: Build and maintain data models that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs.
- Business Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, clarify business questions, and deliver practical data solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Help improve dashboards, reports, data pipelines, and reporting processes to make them more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of DAX and Power Query / M code.
- Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, or data integration workflows.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts for reporting and analytics.
- Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with vibe coding, AI-assisted development, or using AI tools to accelerate data analysis, dashboard development, automation, or problem-solving is a plus.
