(Taipei) Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Developer)

Position Overview

YAGEO Corporation, a leading global supplier of electronic components, is seeking an energetic, positive, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a mid-level Business Intelligence Developer. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional with a passion for analyzing requirements and transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will bring 3-4 years of experience developing in Power BI, including strong expertise in M code and DAX, alongside robust SQL skills and a solid background in data modeling and ETL processes. Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, leveraging M code and DAX to create compelling, customer-focused data visualizations.
• SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL workflows to ensure seamless data integration, quality, and availability for reporting and analysis.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver data solutions that align with YAGEO's strategic business objectives.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance reporting processes, ETL pipelines, and database queries to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

-Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.

-Technical Skills

•Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

•Working knowledge of DAX and Power Query / M code.

•Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

•Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, or data integration workflows.

•Understanding of data modeling concepts for reporting and analytics.

•Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics projects is highly preferred.

•Experience with vibe coding, AI-assisted development, or using AI tools to accelerate data analysis, dashboard development, automation, or problem-solving is a plus.
