System Integration and Test Engineer

[System Level Test Engineer - Automation & Tooling | Post-silicon Validation]

Responsibilities

• Participate in Silicon bring-up, Hardware (HW) validation, and Embedded software (SW) development.
• Develop, debug, and maintain Firmware (FW) and Board-level control SW.
• Interface w/ validation teams to Automate test procedures & Analyze behavior.
• Collaborate w/ Silicon design and validation engineers to debug HW & FW issues.
• Support Lab-based experiments, Board bring-up, and System verification.
• Automate test cases and Data collection using Python.

Min. Qualifications

• B.S. or MSc degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
• 37 yrs of exp. in Embedded systems, FW development, or HW Validation.
• 3+ yrs of professional exp. in developing, deploying, and maintaining robust Test automation solutions (Tools, Frameworks, Scripts)
• Proven exp. in Data parsing and manipulation of large, complex test logs
• Exp. working w/ Version control systems (e.g. Git, Perforce) in a Collaboration team environment.
• Expert proficiency in at least one key Scripting language used in Test & Data analysis (e.g. Python).
• Solid understanding of SW development principles, Testing methodologies (e.g. regression, integration), and the full SW development life cycle
• Strong Troubleshooting & Analysis skills to Identify, Debug, and Resolve issue in Test script, Automation infrastructure, and Data
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in both English & Mandarin.
• Exp. w/ Microcontrollers, SoCs, and Low-level interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, SWD).
• Exp. w/ Lab tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering
• Exp. working specifically within a Semiconductor, Silicon validation, or High volume manufacturing (HVM) environment
• Direct exp. w/ System Level Test (SLT) HW, SW, or Methodologies
• Exp. designing and building GUI / Web-based Dashboards for Data visualization
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline tools for Deploying automation
• Hands-on Low-level programing (C/C++) for interfacing w/ HW or Test routines
• Knowledge of Database technologies (e.g. SQL)
• Understanding of Statistical Analysis methods as applied to Production yield data and Quality control.
• Hands-on high-end ATE/SLT test system architectures.
• Knowledge of Embedded system, Linux/Android environments, or specific Memory/Interface protocols (e.g. DDR, UFS, MPHY)
• Exp. w/ Defect tracking, Code and Project management tools (e.g. Git, JIRA)
• Bilingual capability is required (Mandarin & English). Mandarin speaking/reading is an essential skill in HCLTech Taiwan.
• Taiwan APRC is required w/ expat.
