We are looking for a Systems Application Engineer to make an IMPACT!

The Engineer is accountable for the promotion and pre-sales support of a broad range of solutions, offers, and services in coordination with the Taiwan Power Systems sales team.

The Engineer will focus on driving specification and technical engagement within turnkey projects ranging from standalone electrical equipment to fully engineered solutions, with a strong focus on the Semiconductor and Cloud & Service Provider segments in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical consultant for Semiconductor and C&SP customers to achieve annual business targets.
  • Promote Schneider Electric Energy Management portfolio, including MV/LV power systems, switch gear, digital power solutions, and EcoStruxure architectures.
  • Support business growth through consultative customer engagement and technical solution positioning.
  • Lead technical discussions and clarifications throughout the sales cycle together with the sales team as the domain expert.
  • Engage directly with customers, consultants, EPCs, contractors, and ecosystem partners during project development and execution.
  • Support regional sales teams and account managers in driving project wins through technical influence and solution consulting.
  • Drive specification activities for mission-critical applications including fabs, advanced packaging facilities, and data centers.
  • Educate customers and partners on Schneider Electric Green & Digital offers aligned with sustainability and energy transition initiatives.
  • Understand customer pain points and propose optimized electrical and digital solutions to address reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency requirements.
  • Lead technical workshops, seminars, and customer presentations to strengthen Schneider Electric's trusted advisor positioning.
  • Provide technical training and enablement to internal sales teams and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with Offer Marketing teams on product specifications, testing requirements, certifications, and local compliance standards.
  • Support technical documentation development and local technical certifications where applicable.
  • Collaborate with regional/global segment solution architects to share market feedback, customer requirements, and innovation opportunities.
  • Understand relevant Taiwan electrical regulations, standards, and data center / semiconductor industry requirements.
  • Provide initial design support and technical consultation for strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with end-users consultants, contractors, or EPCs in relevant industries. design experience among TPC and End users requirement.
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Data Center, Critical Power, or C&SP industries is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of Taiwan Semiconductor ecosystem and mission-critical infrastructure market.
  • Strong technical knowledge in:
    • MV/LV electrical equipment
    • Switchgear
    • Power distribution systems
    • Transformers
    • Protection & Control
    • Digital Power & Automation solutions
    • Familiarity with Schneider Electric solutions and EcoStruxure platform is a plus.
    • Knowledge of project sales processes and project management.
    • Experience supporting specification-driven projects is preferred.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP related tools.
    • Knowledge of ETAP or power system analysis tools is a plus.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
    • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
