Job Description

As Assistant Project Manager, you will support project execution, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and actively contribute to AI integration within our Hong Kong operations. This versatile role combines project management, business analysis, training, and prompt engineering responsibilities.

Your Role

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and delivery of operational projects and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
  • Conducting business analysis to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and translate operational needs into actionable AI-enhanced solutions.
  • Designing, testing, and refining AI prompts to optimize outputs from generative AI tools, enabling more effective automation, content generation, customer support enhancements, and internal efficiency gains.
  • Delivering training sessions and coaching to team members on AI tools, best practices, and prompt engineering techniques to build internal capability and adoption.
  • Preparing professional presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications with clarity, maturity, and a positive, approachable demeanor.
  • Acting as an internal ambassador for AI adoption - proactively promoting its value, demonstrating enthusiasm, and fostering a collaborative, us er-friendly culture around AI technologies.
  • Supporting day-to-day operational excellence by bridging communication between operations teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and contributing to continuous improvement through AI-driven insights and process optimization.

To Succeed in this Role

  • Relevant experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a related support role, preferably in telecommunications, operations, or a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong AI-savvy mindset with genuine enthusiasm for AI technologies and their practical application in business operations - including hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompt engineering to achieve reliable, high-quality results.
  • Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats: project management, business analysis, training delivery, and prompt engineering (practical knowledge of crafting, iterating, and optimizing prompts for business outcomes is essential).
  • Excellent professional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written - able to engage stakeholders confidently, clearly, and persuasively.
  • Mature mindset with a friendly, approachable, and ambassadorial approach - proactive in building relationships, promoting AI positively, and supporting team members with patience and positivity.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and business-level proficiency in written English for effective internal and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines) certifications in project management, Agile, or AI/prompt engineering are advantageous.
  • Willingness to be based in Hong Kong with flexibility for in-office collaboration.
