The group you'll be a part of

We're looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll support the Accounting Manager by overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining strong compliance and internal controls. You'll guide the team's routine work, review key deliverables, and partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to resolve issues and improve how we work. The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates clearly, and is comfortable driving process improvements in a fast-moving environment.

The impact you'll make

Manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue. Participates in annual audits and special projects. May work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily accounting work, including assigning tasks, reviewing reconciliations, and supporting period-end close
  • Review and coach on routine deliverables (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations) to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Spot issues in day-to-day transactions or processes, dig into root causes, and work with partners to put fixes in place
  • Drive improvements to processes, controls, and documentation, and provide day-to-day guidance to the team
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting questions and keep transactions moving smoothly
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, answering questions, tracking follow-ups, and flagging higher-risk items to the Accounting Manager

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 7–10 years accounting experience (general ledger, cost and tax)
  • Team lead/supervisory experience (coordinate work, review deliverables, follow through)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and close processes
  • Solutions-focused problem solver
  • ERP experience (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel; comfortable with tight deadlines
  • Experience managing outsourcing and insourcing partners
  • CPA is a plus; experience at a Big Four accounting firm is highly desirable.
  • English required (TOEIC 750+ preferred)

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
