Job Description

JD Vehicle and Registration and Licensing Counter Services for Government Department

Responsibilities:

(a) To provide vehicle registration and licensing counter services at customer service counters as well as backend office as directed by the Government Representatives, including but not limited to, receiving, checking and processing vehicle registration and licensing applications and preparing licences or permits via vehicle registration and licensing terminal for, including but not limited to, renewal of vehicle licences, transfer of vehicle ownership, retention and/or assignment of vehicle registration marks, duplication of vehicle licences/vehicle registration documents

(b) To prepare simple registers, reports, documents and correspondences relating to vehicle registration and licensing services

(c) To handle complaints and enquiries from the public relating to vehicle registration and licensing services and

(d) To perform any other duties as assigned by the Government Representatives.

Requirements

  1. At least three (3) year full-time solid working experience in the hospitality industry customer service industry (e.g. hotels, theme parks, airport or airline passenger services, government counter or licensing services) or at least one (1) year full-time/part-time working experience in a Licensing Office of the Transport Department at the time of formal deployment

Level 3 or equivalent Attained with Distinction in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in HKDSEE or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE)

OR

  1. Having at leastfive (5) yearfull-time solid working experience in the hospitality industry or customer service industry or at least three (3) year full-time/part-time working experience in a Licensing Office of the Transport Department at the time of formal deployment:

Level 2 or equivalent attainedin Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in HKDSEE or above in five subjects including Mathematics in HKDSEE. The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent or Level 2 (Grade E) in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth]/Grade E or above in five subjects including Mathematics in HKCEE).
