Description and Requirements
Supply Chain Manager (PBM)
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Supply Chain Manager (PBM) to act as the critical bridge between our Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and Offering Development Teams (ODT).
In this high-impact, end-to-end role, you will serve as the Program Business Manager (PBM), owning procurement performance and material readiness to ensure successful product launches. You will lead supply chain activities across the entire product lifecycle-from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End of Life (EOL)-while driving the One Lenovo strategy, mitigating risks, and enabling cross-segment synergy.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Chain Ownership
- Lead and govern full lifecycle supply chain activities, spanning NPI planning, sourcing strategy, cost optimization, manufacturing enablement, and product EOL execution
- Ensure seamless integration of supply chain strategies across development and operations
Strategic Sourcing Leadership
- Develop and execute NPI sourcing strategies in close partnership with Global Commodity Management (GCM)
- Represent GSC within ODT, driving alignment on sourcing decisions, cost targets, and supply continuity
- Influence supplier selection and sourcing roadmap to meet business objectives
Risk Management & Governance
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks across all phases
- Lead key checkpoint reviews to ensure readiness, compliance, and risk containment
- Establish contingency plans to safeguard business continuity
Manufacturing Readiness & Delivery
- Drive NPI production readiness across global manufacturing sites
- Ensure materials and supply chain capabilities support aggressive Time-to-Market (TTM) targets
- Monitor execution closely to guarantee on-time delivery and launch success
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the central integrator across GSC, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders
- Facilitate clear, consistent communication to enable efficient decision-making
- Support a scalable supply chain model to handle increasing product and segment complexity
Analytical Problem Solving
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify root causes and resolve complex supply chain challenges
- Leverage structured launch processes to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
- Optimize cost, efficiency, and operational performance
Strategic Initiatives
- Support GSC with high-impact projects and transformation initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement aligned with long-term business strategy
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong experience within the server or high-tech industry preferred
- Proven track record in NPI, sourcing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- English proficieny and familiar with Excel
